I live on Sydney’s beautiful northern beaches and with my partner. Together we run The Cooks Larder [a food store, delicatessen, cafe and cooking school]. We have 2 children both of whom love food as much as their parents.
This blog is about all things food, though not about restaurant food. My true love is home food…. and my passion for photography is even older than my love of food. Food photography is a new side line for me and I would love to spend ages setting up shots and styling my heart away …but because the recipes featured are always what we are eating for dinner that night I only ever have a quick moment before the dish is thrown into the oven or devoured by my hungry family…

Congratulations! I love the blog and particularly the image of the camp oven on the fire – it reminds me of wonderful evenings around a campfire when I was growing up – my father always prided himself on his camp oven dampers, drowned in golden syrup, for ‘dessert’!
