Walking into Kara’s studio feels like stepping onto the set of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory—except all the magic comes from her clever use of colour to create personality-filled characters. From kooky chickens to adorable dogs, each piece is full of whimsy and delight. I loved spending time with Kara, photographing her at work surrounded by her pieces in the most colourful studio you could imagine - complete with an actual disco ball sending the light bouncing! @ceramicsbykara
